X Men Icons: Rogue

Little is known of the woman named Rogue. While even her real name remains hidden, this much is fact: she wields the uncanny ability to steal the abilities and memories of the people around her through skin-to-skin contact. This curse is her genetic birthright, a mutant anomaly that manifested itself in her formative teenage years. Since then, sheis been on the run, forever cut off from intimate human contact. Her only family is the X-Men, a group of mutants dedicated to the ideal of peaceful coexistence with mankind.

Rogue has just joined the X-Men. Apprehensive and ostracized by her peers, she tries desperately to understand her new status and surroundings. An unfortunate incident with her teacher, Professor Xavier, prompts Rogue to flee once again towards an unknown future. Will her latest family fade into the past like so many others, or will Rogue finally find acceptance among the Children of the Atom? This journey of self-discovery will move and excite even a novice of X-Men lore.
