Description
EMC-Electromagnetic Compatibility - This book is aimed at product designers who want to integrate EMC design principles into their products in a structured fashion. It assumes knowledge of the basics of electronic circuit design and is applicable both to analog and digital circuits. The first of the book's two parts gives an overview of the need for EMC in products, and covers methods of measuring electromagnetic interference. The second half covers the fundamentals of interference coupling and then sets out the design principles by which this coupling can be minimized or avoided. A suggested design checklist and recommendations for a company-wide EMC test plan are included as appendices. Must half if you wish to provide higher quality products.
