On the border between Russia and China lay the Tien Shan mountains - a looming, menacing range of treacherous snow-capped peaks. And somewhere in that craggy fastness was a secret that threatened the world. To secure the information that would unlock that secret, America and Russia sent a joint team on a suicide mission. Six men with nothing to lose but their lives crossed the frontier into Communist China.
