European Defence Co-Operation: America, Britain and NATO

At a time when the Western European states are taking more responsibility for their own defence, this book looks at the effect of such developments on Anglo-American relations. Politicians in both London and Washington assert that the old "special relationship" between Britain and America is very much alive and well.
