So glad I bought Birds of Peru before traveling there. Even though an app is available, the ability to browse through the pages was appreciated. The maps were a huge assistance in helping identify birds. We couldn’t identify everything we saw, but having the book sure helped!
Sometimes confusing as one type of bird might be found in three different places. I’m sure it is my lack of knowledge that contributed to my confusion at times.
So large it is a heavy book to carry about in the field.
