This book helps participants understand the connection between the foods they are enjoying at their gathering and the message of the Bible.  The book is divided into six sections, each covering a different theme.  Tasting the Goodness of God's Word, Exploring Stories of the Old and New Testament, Celebrating Holy Days and Holidays, Sharing God's Bounty, Sampling Foods of the Holy Land, and Savoring Symbols of Faith.  This book includes complete programs and shorter works that can be used to supplement Sunday school and other times of Bible study.  Each is based on a passage of Scripture and offers recipes, an activity, background information, and clear instructions for conducting the program.
