This volume, the fifth edition of a popular volume in the "Lecture Notes" series, describes the use of biochemical tests in the diagnosis, treatment and management of disease. Although descriptions are concise, the reasons for abnormal results are explained, and emphasis is laid on the proper selection of tests and interpretation of results.
