About Level 1 This level of the series is designed for students who know addition and subtraction with multi-digit numbers as well as simple multiplications of one-digit numbers. About Volume 1 - Counting This book starts a foundation for good skills for discrete counting and probability. Age appropriate examples introduce elementary counting concepts and inductive reasoning.
