Description

Recently widowed Chelsea Carpenter decides to put her home up for sale, pack her bags, and move back to her hometown. After months of grief and guilt over her husband’s death, it’s finally time for Chelsea to look to her future, hopefully starting with her own fashion boutique. Shortly after her arrival, Chelsea is introduced to not one, but two wonderful men. First John Parker, a young, successful business man to whom she’s inexplicably drawn, and later to Colin O’Brien, whom she meets through a blind date. Colin is an aspiring actor, a man possessed with the qualities to steal any woman’s heart, and Chelsea is not entirely immune. When Chelsea learns through the grapevine that John is already spoken for, with a heavy heart she decides to step aside. An accident costs the lives of her best friends and Chelsea takes guardianship of their two children. Colin, seeing this as the perfect opportunity for a ready made family, proposes marriage, causing Chelsea to realize she’s actually in love with John. But although John very much wants Chelsea in his life, he has yet to resolve his obligations to another. Convinced romantic happiness is beyond her, Chelsea hasn’t counted on the reality of second chances, or the magical powers of true love.
