Sunan and Bao couldn’t have been born more different. He came from a fishing village in the far northeast. She hailed from a noble house in a huge metropolis. But they shared a common trait: they hated the Demon Emperor. Both of them experienced tragedy because of him, and both swore vows to end his life. But how could two youngsters with no skill or experience take on the most powerful entity in the world? The answer was simple: qi. The Demon Emperor himself brought qi with him when he invaded their world, a mysterious energy that fused with the lands and everything that lived in them. And when qi was combined with traditional martial arts, ordinary humans could perform extraordinary feats of prowess. This was the era in which martial heroes arose, and kung fu flourished. This was the era in which the common people fought back against the Demon Emperor. This was the era of Sunan and Bao.
