Helping Children Learn Mathematics, Sixth Edition, is written for elementary school teachers to help children learn mathematics meaningfully. This revision reflects major changes in the elementary school mathematics curriculum, assessment, and professional development of teacher education consistent with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, Standards 2000.
