As student populations across the U.S. reflect increasing racial, ethnic, and linguistic diversity in changing times, the need for effective, research-based classroom practices has never been greater. The Fourth Edition includes what you need to effectively provide equitable instruction for emergent bilingual students including:
- How to implement activities/strategies for in class, online, and hybrid settings - How to address racial/social justice issues - How to respond to immigrant student concerns in the current political climate - How to incorporate students' home languages through translanguaging.
