Dynamics of Trial Practice: Problems and Materials, 3d, 2008 Supplement

This new supplement to Dynamics of Trial Practice: Problems and Materials, 3d, refines a number of the general concepts analyzed in the main text and covers significant recent developments, including: states permitting brief opening statements before jury voire dire; attorneys using computer programs to help them decide which panelists to strike during jury selection; the mechanics of introducing digitized exhibits at trial; and the controversy surrounding the increasingly widespread practice of allowing supplemental closing arguments when juries are deadlocked. As in prior supplements, the authors have created a new casefile to prevent the mix of cases from becoming stale.
