This series of commentaries is outstanding. It bridges the gap from standard commentaries to High Scholarly ones. It does have foot notes. I found myself spiritually enriched by it's content. I was able to get the Psalms commentary through my local library on interlibrary loan. I will be buying this set when it becomes available.
