Well researched. Copious quotations drawn from extant documents. One can’t have read this book and come away with a good opinion of Britain. It is an account of rule by “legalized lawlessness” that included torture and cold-blooded murder throughout the empire especially in Palestine and Kenya. Readers with weak stomachs should skip pages 556 and 557.
