Worker Capitalism makes the case for a pragmatic, government-assisted program of worker and worker-community ownership of businesses as a means of economic redevelopment, particularly in older industrial countries. Worker ownership, the authors contend, is a potentially superior alternative to industrial policies such as subsidies or protection.
