Oxford School German Dictionary

This title is updated for 2004, with over 1000 new entries, covering: IT (web page, web site, gigabyte, chatroom); money (one euro coin, with value of euro compared to old currency); communications (text message, long-distance call); leisure (action replay, abseiling; bicycle lane); and religion. This new edition has been expanded to include over 1000 new headwords with particular attention paid to money, email technology, pastime and leisure, ecology, medical terms, sports and professions. Existing entries have been made fuller and more comprehensive. The features include: colour headwords, phrases, verb tables and virtual alphabet tabs; uses New Spelling system throughout as standard; clear examples show the words in context; help with grammar; expressions and idioms highlighted; and introduction on how to use the dictionary.
