Acrylics Masterclass

This is a study of the work of nine professional artists who are all practitioners specializing in acrylics, and their work represents a wide variety of styles, subject matter and techniques. By sharing their knowledge and providing insights into their working methods, these artists offer the amateur painter the opportunity to learn and benefit from their combined experience. The master-classes feature the artists' ideas and sources of inspiration, each artist's choice of materials and how they achieve striking effect with them, the wide range of techniques that the artists use, beautiful acrylic paintings showing the characteristic style of each artist and a varied range of subjects. Other chapters describe the various types of acrylic that are available, explain some of the basic elements of technique and demonstrate how the master-class artists handle the medium.
