Description

This is the third and final volume in a series of books that document Artpace's residencies and exhibitions for the years 2004 to 2006. These books share a common design concept emanating from an earlier publication program of color brochures for individual artists, while presenting the content in a more substantial and durable form. We will continue to look retrospectively at our activities through a major volume each year, but henceforth each will have a distinct identity. In this way, as we move forward we will emulate the ever-changing character of Artpace's programs as conceived by the rotating teams of resident artists and guest curators. --Matthew Drutt, Executive Director, ArtpaceInternational Artist-in-Residence (IAIR) 06.1: Edgar Arceneaux, Augusto Di Stefano, Ranjani ShettarIAIR 06.2: Luz María Sánchez, Gerda Steiner & Jörg Lenzlinger, Do-Ho SuhIAIR 06.3: Chiho Aoshima, Katie Pell, Allison SmithHudson (Show)Room: Arnoud Holleman, Frances Stark, Kota Ezawa, Andrea BowersWindowWorks: Alejandro Diaz, Ethel Shipton, Rhonda Kuhlman
