This innovative casebook is a first of its kind. It emphasizes the acquisition of Spanish language legal terminology and, simultaneously, the exposure of the users to historical and cultural underpinnings of the different legal systems from which potential Spanish-speaking clients and colleagues will come. Written in Spanish, it provides a wide variety of readings, including: judicial opinions, statutory texts, descriptive articles, analytical essays, international treaties and agreements, and materials from federal and state websites.
