In case the eBook you have purchased is an access code for course materials such as Pearson+, Connect, Evolve, etc., this article will tell you how to locate and use the access code in question correctly.
Connect Access Cards, such as those from McGraw-Hill, offer access to online educational platforms. While some cards only include standalone access codes, others may also provide eBooks or additional materials. Confirming what is included before purchase is essential.

Note: such materials can only be accessed on the publisher’s website with an access code and the Course ID or course link provided by your instructor. We do not advise proceeding further in case you do not have either Course ID or the course link; such learning platforms, as a rule, cannot be used for self-study.
In case you do have the required assets to access publisher courseware, follow the steps below.
1. To access the materials, you will first need to redeem the VitalSource Code in their app, Bookshelf Online. You may find detailed instructions on how to do that in our article on the topic.
2. In Bookshelf, click "My Library" from the menu on the left. Locate the eBook you need. Underneath the book cover, it will be marked as "eBook" if the book doesn't carry any additional materials; otherwise, the item will state "Access Code".

3. To access your Publisher access code, click on three dots next to the "Access Code" tag. Once you click on it, you will find a dropdown menu; choose the "Access Code instructions" option.

4. A popup window will appear with the following information:
A request to confirming you have the correct material;
A button to reveal your access code (if this section (upon first reveal) shows "Already Revealed", then you should look for a link in your LMS as it should be code-less delivery);
What website the code should be redeemed on.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Once the access code is revealed, the eBook order can no longer be refunded;
If your book does not show the "Access Code" tag under the book cover in "My Library", please confirm you have purchased the correct material.
If you are having an issue with redeeming the access code on the publisher's website from step #4, please reach out to that publisher's support, as we are unable to assist with third party websites.
Publishers may have different instructions for their products. You can only redeem the Publisher Access Code at the Publisher's website.
