You may cancel your purchase/rental order in your order details within 30 minutes after order placement. Before proceeding with cancelation request, please check your current order status. You will be able to cancel the order only in case you see the status "Pending", otherwise, in most cases the order can no longer be canceled.
To check your order status:
1. Access The Order Details
Registered Users:
Unregistered Users:
Open your email inbox.
Search for a confirmation email from [email protected].
Click the blue “View Order Details” button inside the email.
The order status will be visible on the details page.
2. Locate the order you wish to cancel
Click the “Cancel” button next to the item.
Click the "Request refund" button for eBooks.
Note: You only have 30 minutes from the time of order placement to cancel.
If the “Cancel” button is missing while the order status is "Pending" or "Not Shipped", please reach out to us via the chat widget/icon in the Help Center.
Please include:
Your order number;
A brief explanation of the issue.
3. Shipped orders can no longer be canceled
According to our Terms & Conditions, once an order is shipped, cancelation is no longer possible.
Order Placed With a Marketplace Seller
If your order was placed with one of BooksRun's marketplace sellers, and not BooksRun directly, there will be a "Seller" tab in your order confirmation:
In such cases, a cancelation request has to be submitted with the seller. Please write to our Customer Support Team at [email protected] with your order number, cancelation reason and your contact email. You will receive a follow-up from the seller regarding your cancelation request.
