I did not receive supplementary materials with my order.

As a rule, any supplementary materials (access codes, CDs or DVDs, test blanks etc.) are not guaranteed to be included with used books and rental orders from BooksRun. You can verify whether a book includes supplements by checking the item description at checkout.

This includes essential items like access codes.

Self-Service Tip: Always read the product description and comments carefully before placing your order to determine whether supplementary materials are included.

For access codes, verify if they are explicitly mentioned in the product details.

After placing your purchase order, you’ll receive an email from [email protected]. This email will include:

  • Your order details

  • Comments specifying whether supplementary materials are included

Check the Order Comments section in your order confirmation email. If it says the book comes with supplements, they should be included in your package.

If supplementary materials were supposed to be included, but you did not get them or could not use, follow these steps:

  1. Reach out to BooksRun via the chat widget/icon in the Help Center.

  2. Include the following in your email:

    • Your order number

    • A description of the issue

    • Images of:

      • The BooksRun sticker (found on the back cover or spine)

      • The copyright page/barcode

Before following the return instructions, it's essential to verify your order type — whether it's a rental or a purchase. Each type has different return procedures, and using the wrong method may impact your refund eligibility.

BooksRun does not offer refunds on rental returns.

If your purchase order was not supposed to come with supplementary materials, and the purchase is no longer needed, it can be returned to us for a refund within 30 days after the delivery.

Return & Refund Limitations

Please note that we do not accept returns, provide replacements, or issue refunds for the following:

1. Undesired items purchased for less than $15

This includes discretionary reasons such as:

  • No longer needed

  • Ordered by mistake

  • Found a better price

  • Didn’t like purchase

  • Item arrived too late

  • Any other similar non-defect–related reasons

2. Orders outside the 30-day return window

We are unable to process any return, replacement, or refund requests submitted after the 30-day period has expired (the days count starts from the delivery date).
