If your purchase order was canceled by BooksRun, there are a few possible reasons. You should have received an email notification from [email protected] confirming the cancelation and refund. Depending on your payment method, your refund should appear in your account within a few business days.

Requested Refund:

You or someone authorized on your account requested to cancel the rental. A refund was processed and confirmed via email.

Item Out of Stock:

The book was purchased by another customer just before your order was finalized. Our inventory system updates in real-time, but on rare occasions, a book may be sold out at the moment your order is submitted.

Suspicious Credit Card Transaction:

The system detected a mismatch in your payment details or flagged the transaction as high risk. Our payment gateway uses automated fraud detection systems that may block a transaction based on preset protection settings. You can try placing the order again using a different card.

Invalid Shipping Address:

The address you have provided is not currently covered by our international shipping program. At the moment, we ship to Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Australia. Orders placed to other countries will be automatically canceled due to our inability to fulfill them.

For cancelations processed within 2-3 hours after the payment transaction, the payment may be written off of your statement, and it will appear as if no withdrawal took place. Otherwise, refunds are issued immediately after the cancelation, and may be processed within 10 business days depending on how quickly your bank provider processes such transactions.
