If you need to change the address your check will be sent to, it’s important to act quickly and follow the correct steps. You can update the address yourself — but only before the buyback order reaches the "Pending payment" status.
You can change the check mailing address only if:
Your buyback status is not yet marked as "Pending payment".
You update your address through your account settings.
Important: For security and privacy reasons, BooksRun Support cannot update personal information on your behalf. All address changes must be made by the account holder.
If the order hasn't been processed yet:
Go to the Account Details page and log in (if needed)
Update your Mailing Address with the correct information
Click the blue "Save" button
Result: The updated address will be automatically linked to your buyback order.
Once your buyback reaches the "Pending payment" stage, the address on file at that time will be used for mailing your check. Make sure to update your address in advance, using the steps above, to ensure your payment is sent to the correct location.
If a check has been sent to an incorrect address, you can provide an updated mailing address or opt for a faster alternative like your PayPal account email to facilitate reissuance. BooksRun will cancel the previous check and issue a replacement to the correct address while preventing misuse.
