If you are a new student to be going to college this fall, you need to understand what you have signed up for! It is a new chapter of your life and it is useful to find out about other people’s experience to get a better idea of what student’s life is like. Now at the age of Facebook it is popular among students to publish posts about their academic and extra-curricular achievements, personal problems, dorm friends, sports activities etc… It is interesting to read this information but very often it provides just an abstract from a certain person’s life. These days the college is not associated with the same “wild” experience as it used to be with parties all night long and a carefree lifestyle. Homework. Homework. Homework. Let’s get it straight, no one likes homework. Who even invented that stuff anyway? Like going to school wasn’t enough work as it is, now we have to bring the work home to us! At some point, I thought that on completing high school, that would be the last I would see of the dreaded homework, but boy was I in for a shock after my first day of college. It seems there’s just no escaping it, and in college, it’s a lot worse because there’s just too many of them; thousands of pages of books to read, essays to write, and let’s not forget the deadlines, and you have to keep track of all this by yourself!
