This book provided in depth explanations and many examples for how to code certain scenarios and conditions. I would have liked to see a few more examples for the odd and unique scenarios and conditions as these are what my college instructor focused on quite often.
This book seems very logical; it starts at the beginning to give you a basic understanding and breakdown of how the codes are formulated and the differences between ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes. The book seems to progress appropriately through the body systems and conditions, leaving the more difficult and extensive sections towards the end of the book on purpose so that confidence, skill, and ability can be built prior to.
I felt that there could have been a few more examples given for certain coding sections, a better index/glossary/table of content section, and more elaboration on with certain guidelines that were expressed at the beginning of each chapter as this is suppose to be a book used to teach the content and elicit comprehension.
