Yes, it is a very well designed book with excellent pedagogy
It is very clearly and coherent. The table of contents is useful and the "project" students have to be able to do at the end is well thought out. The chapter activities lead well to the fulfilment of the project. Also the cultural parts are very relevant.
It is not a book that can be taught in a single year. It is designed for more than a year. Any classroom teacher adding some other tidbits and catering the teaching for their specific classroom would be able to use it in the two first years of elementary Spanish.
