Great for ages 9-14, a little gory, but interesting, it really pulls you in, plus, kids need to be able to handle some more mature themes as they get older. This series leaves room for creativity and gets kids really thinking, "What if Ravenpaw never left?" or "What if Fireheart never joined the Clans?". My 9-year-old daughter loves this and has for almost a year now. She has also learned fun facts from it. She told me that the herbs in this book are based off of an actual herbal remedy book!
